Thank you for making it all the way to the Personal section. Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Elisabeth, I am 40 years old, I am married and I have two beautiful kids. In the summer of 2025 we decided to move from the Netherlands to Sweden. We settled in Yngsjö, Skane, where we immediately fell in love with its beautiful nature and friendly atmosphere.
Elisabeth Healing Bodyworks is a place of healing and rebalancing with a holistic approach. This means that we may assume that the physical and non-physical are always interconnected. Non-physical issues can manifest in the physical and vice versa. Awareness of this, through bodyworks, can help solve and prevent chronic issues. My approach is to assist people in rebalancing the Mind-Heart-Body trinity. All three are equally important and they should be in balance in order to recover from existing issues and prevent future ones. Modern society can make maintaining this balance challenging; often at least one the three is undermined as we are conditioned to do so. Yet over the years I have witnessed many of my clients recover from signs of burn-out, trauma, depression, chronic pain, insomnia, heartache, periods of loneliness and feeling lost. I watched them find their way home to themselves again and I walked right beside them.
My training started in 2016 at massage therapy school Esoterra in Bilthoven, the Netherlands. This was followed by many hours in spa settings and joined collaborations with other massage therapists before I started my own practice. I am trained in Lomi Lomi (advanced) under guidance of Marianne Huisman, whose training lineage lies in Hawaii under several kumus of the healing arts. I am currently in training for Trance Mediumship, which I aim to incorporate into the practice because it adds so much love and depth.
In the Netherlands I owned my own small massage and healing practice under the name of Veder Massage (‘Veder’ is archaic Dutch for ‘feather’), in which I helped so many wonderful people on their way through the more difficult parts of life. At the same time, it gave me so much space for personal growth. After four years of running my own practice there I decided to pack things up and move the business to Sweden, under a new name: Elisabeth Healing Bodyworks. This is because what I do has become much more than ‘just’ a massage.
I use a combination of touch, massage, sound, breath, essential oils, plants, energy work and sometimes assistance from the spiritual world, to offer an embodied healing experience catered to your own level of physical, emotional and spiritual maturity and your needs. I work intuitively but I am also rooted in traditional training.
It is important to note that when I say that I am a healer, what I really mean is that I assist you in your own healing process. I facilitate but I do not take any credits for your journey into the realisation of your wholeness. I expect you to do your work, for you. It is important that you take ownership of your own process. However, I am very adept at gently guiding you through this. I can ask the difficult questions. I can hold the space when emotions arise. I can share my Light with you as you remember your own.
All people are welcome in my practice and I believe that all life is equal. I believe in equal respect and I expect the same from you when you enter my space.
